Andipuerto Guayaquil S. A. won the tender issued by Port Authorities of Guayaquil in 1998 for the concession of the Grain and Multipurpose Terminal for 20 years with exclusive rights for handling bulk / grain cargo. The terminal can also operate general cargo and containers.

Located inside the main Port of Guayaquil called “Puerto Nuevo” it covers an area on the extreme East side of the Port with easy access to the city and connected to the main roads of the country.

All vessels destined to Andipuerto Guayaquil S. A. use the same channel access as “Puerto Nuevo”. The pilot station is located northwest from the “Puná Island”, being a quiet, wind calm and natural channel with an official draft of 32 feet brackish water.
