Yes – double banking is possible and worthwhile…
Due to congestion and rain delays at the Port of Guayaquil, it has been necessary in many cases to request bulk carrier’s operators to accept/arrange permission for double banking with liquid tanker vessels at the calm waters alongside Andipuerto. The terminal offers two Yokohama fenders and berth dues discount while the manoeuvre is in place. The tankers are to discharge agricultural soy beam or corn oils which are no danger for the operation.
