Andipuerto: Experts in bulk cargo since 1999

Since 1999, Andipuerto Guayaquil S.A., has been the concessionaire of the Bulk and Multipurpose Terminals of the Guayaquil Port Authority. Their efficiency regarding port operations as well as the correct handling of products, are the main reason why their clients prefer them.

Andipuerto has invested as needed to keep their operational excellence, grow in terms of infrastructure, increase their storage capacity, and offer high quality services to their users.

Their infrastructure has a total area of 13 hectares and a berth with capacity to attend ships up to 210 m LOA. Andipuerto Guayaquil S.A. has offered Guayaquil’s Port Authority an investment of $32 million dollars which will include the current berth’s expansion with the goal to welcome ships with a larger draft and length.

Currently, Andipuerto has an average transfer of about 2.5 million metric tons of in bulk and multipurpose cargo per year which corresponds to:

60% agribulks

20% industrial bulk

20% general cargo

And with a total storage capacity of 360,000 metric tons.
